Hats, Hats and more hats

Last year I made hats as part of community project.  These were given away to those in our community who were in need.  They are all made out of polar fleece.

These ones were adult size and I decided the black needed a litte decoration.

I made heaps of these hat/scarfs in kids sizes.  They easy to made and hopefully are keeping lots of heads and necks warm.

Introduction.

The purpose of this blog is for me to create a record of my creative projects.  I mainly knit, sew and embroider  but I will give anything a go.  I am also creative in the kitchen so this might also turn in a cook journal as well.  My intention is to blog at least once a week but hopefully more often.

As I have been considering doing this for a while I have a few finished projects(well quite a few) to record in case I haven't finished anything this week.

To start with here is the Knitted Robot I made my son for his birthday.  When we were in Clyde on holiday we went to a awesome wool shop Touchyarns.  The kids both found toy patterns that wanted mum to make.  Here is Chip the robot.

I made him entitle with wool from my stash.  The buttons were out of my button collection.  I wouldn't do this for a young child as I have had a few problems with the buttons staying on.
